The Designer
Alaina first became interested in art during her freshman year of high school, and was a driven creative by senior year. She chose to pursue her art career and attended School of the Art Institute of Chicago after high school in 2016. During this time, Alaina realized that her true passion was design and sought a more specialized design program. She transferred to College for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan, where she graduated and received her BFA with a major in product design and a minor in illustration in 2021.
Alaina has a human centric design approach and focuses her work on the problem solving ability of objects and how to incorporate new functions that improve the daily life of the user. She is a focused individual, enjoys working in a team, and easily become passionate about her projects.
When she is not working on her design work, Alaina enjoys the outdoors and has several hobbies, including rock climbing, hiking, and road cycling.
